Changelog

What we shipped, when it went live, and what it means for you — in plain English, for every part of the platform.

  1. ConnectNew

Point a code or link at a hub, a storefront or a product

A hub, a storefront or a single product can now be chosen as the destination for a QR code or a link page, the same way a landing page or a form already could.

  2. HubNew

Give a hub its own logo and colors

A hub now carries its own crest and brand colors, so what members see belongs to the organization running it rather than to Sprykit.

  3. HubNew

Members, groups and invites have a place of their own

People management is now its own section of a hub, with separate pages for members, groups and pending invites, plus a preview that shows the hub exactly as a chosen member would see it.

  4. HubNew

A calendar, shared files and a member directory

Members can now see the hub's event calendar, open the files shared with them, and look up who else belongs to their groups.

  5. StoreNew

Renewing a membership is paid on its own

A membership that is up for renewal is now paid separately rather than through the basket, so a renewal is never mixed up with a different purchase.

  6. StoreImproved

A clearer product page, and a storefront grouped by what you are paying for

A product page now shows the details and the payment side by side with the pay button always in reach. A storefront groups one-off purchases, memberships and donations instead of listing everything together.

  7. StoreImproved

The basket says when something has been added

Adding something to the basket now confirms it on screen, and a product limited to one per order says so rather than offering to add a second.

  8. PlatformImproved

    Clearer AI credit packs

The AI credit packs now indicate which one suits the amount of work you are doing, and the first-pack discount states plainly when it applies.

  9. PlatformFixed

Purchased AI credits arrive straight away

Buying a pack of AI credits now adds them to the workspace balance as soon as the payment goes through, and confirms the purchase on screen.

  10. PlatformFixed

Removing a subdomain takes its pages offline

Removing a subdomain from a workspace now reliably takes down the pages that were being served on it.

  11. ConnectFixed

Restoring an earlier version keeps the one it replaced

Restoring a previous version of a page or a menu now saves the version it replaced first, so you can step back again. Restoring a menu brings back the whole menu rather than part of it.

  12. ConnectFixed

A withdrawn link says so clearly

A link, code or page that has been unpublished or deleted now shows a plain 'no longer available' page carrying the code that was scanned, instead of a generic error.

  13. PlatformFixed

A renamed address keeps old links working

Anything published on a custom domain now has one address, and renaming it redirects visitors from the old one instead of leaving them stranded.

  14. StoreImproved

Storefronts are included on every plan

A workspace can open a storefront on any plan, including Free. What differs between plans is the platform rate taken from each payment, not whether you can sell at all; the rates are set out on the pricing page.

  15. StoreNew

Hide the Sprykit mark on a storefront

Plans that include it can now remove the Sprykit mark from a published storefront, and the footer stays clear of the page's own content.

  16. HubImproved

A hub past its limit stays readable

When a hub goes past the limit its plan includes, members can still read everything already published. Only new interactions pause, until the limit is raised.

  17. PlatformImproved

Analytics without cookies, and less of a visitor's address kept

Repeat visitors are now recognized without setting a cookie, and an analytics record keeps only the first three parts of a visitor's IP address. The privacy notice describes exactly what is stored.

  18. PlatformImproved

The consent banner appears only where it is needed

The cookie consent banner now shows only on the surfaces that actually set something requiring consent, rather than on every page.

  19. PlatformSecurity

Access checks run through one shared check

Permission and entitlement checks across the platform now go through a single shared check, so every surface answers the same question in the same way.

  20. ConnectFixed

Short-link analytics count the window they label

The summary above a short link's analytics now measures the same period it names, so its totals match the chart beneath it.

  21. ConnectFixed

Dietary and allergen labels are readable in dark mode

The dietary and allergen labels on a published menu did not meet the AA contrast standard in dark mode. They now do.

  22. PlatformImproved

    Confirmations are proper dialogs

Every confirmation in the app is now an in-app dialog that works with the keyboard and with a screen reader, in place of the browser's own pop-ups.

  23. FormsFixed

A visitor's form submission is no longer lost

Five separate problems on a public form could each end with a visitor's answers being lost on submission. All five are fixed, and the form now says clearly when something it cannot accept needs correcting.

  24. PlatformFixed

The top plan is no longer told menus are excluded

A workspace on the highest plan was shown an upgrade prompt for digital menus that plan already includes. The prompt is gone.

  25. PlatformImproved

Pricing states the full cost of taking a payment

The pricing page now says plainly that Sprykit's platform rate and the payment processor's own fee both come out of a payment before the balance reaches you, and links to the processor's published rate rather than quoting a figure of our own.

  26. StoreNew

    Store is live

Sell one-off items, memberships and donations from a storefront of your own, take payment into your own connected account, and manage orders beside the rest of your workspace.

  27. ConnectNew

    Pay by QR code

A QR code can now point at something to pay for, so a printed code can take a payment at a table, on a poster or on a donation card.

  28. StoreNew

Buyers hear about every step by email

Buyers now hear from the organization they bought from at each stage — confirmation, a renewal reminder before a membership renews, and a notice when something will not renew — with a one-time link to renew.

  29. StoreNew

    Discount codes

A storefront can now offer discount codes, restricted to chosen products if you want, applied by the buyer at checkout.

  30. StoreNew

Send storefront events to your own systems

A storefront can send its order and membership events to a system of your own over a signed webhook, retrying automatically if the receiving end is unavailable.

  31. StoreNew

    Memberships

A storefront can sell a recurring membership, and buyers manage their own membership from a portal of their own.

September 2026

  1. StoreImproved

The platform rate is recorded on every order

Each order now records the platform rate taken from it, and that amount is reversed when the order is refunded.

  2. HubNew

    Hub is live

Publish a private space for a group — posts, events, files and a member directory — where who sees what is decided by which group someone belongs to rather than by who has the link.

  3. HubNew

RSVPs and availability on a hub event

A hub event can now collect RSVPs and availability from the members who are able to see it.
